Dental technology constantly evolves, and Dr. Timmerman and his team are committed to bringing the latest advancements to our Marysville dental office. Advanced technology provides our patients with more effective and streamlined treatment procedures, resulting in a more comfortable and pleasant experience.

Here's more information about the technology and equipment you'll find at Blu Dental Wellness and how it might benefit you.

Digital Impressions

If you ever had a dental crown or orthodontic treatment done in the past, you probably had impressions taken of your teeth. This process used to be messy and uncomfortable, as we had to use a goopy alginate material that would set in your mouth around your teeth, and then make molds and models of your teeth from those impressions. This process was especially unpleasant for patients with bad gag reflexes.

These days, we can quickly scan a digital impression of your teeth that delivers 3-D imaging that allows us to design restorations such as crowns, bridges, or veneers, or night guards or teeth whitening trays. The process is quick and comfortable for patients, and the scan delivers an accurate impression of your teeth that makes it easy for our Marysville dentists to work with.

Intraoral Cameras

Wouldn't it be easier to understand why you need a crown when you can see that half of your tooth is discolored and decayed? Now you can see everything Dr. Timmerman sees with the help of our intraoral camera.

This thin, pen-sized device fits easily into your mouth and helps us capture full-color images of your teeth, soft tissues, and mouth. Seeing your teeth up close and in color can help you determine the best treatment procedures to help you reach your smile goals.

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)

This device captures 3-D images of your teeth, jawbone, jaw joints, and sinuses. It's especially helpful in assisting Dr. Timmerman in planning complex procedures such as oral surgery, root canal treatment, and dental implant placement.

CBCT imaging ensures that we achieve the best outcomes and results for our patients.
